Wears & Tears helps you catalogue your wardrobe and track what you wear. That takes some personal data; here is exactly what we handle and why.

What we collect

Your name, email address, and profile picture from Google when you sign in. The photos you upload — wardrobe photos and daily selfies — along with the clothing item images our AI extracts from them. An approximate, city-level location derived from your internet connection when you upload (never precise GPS), local weather at that time, and the notification token of devices where you enable reminders.

How we use it

To build and show your personal wardrobe library, recognise what you wear on daily selfies, and generate insights such as wear counts, seasonal trends, and style summaries. Location and weather are used only to enrich those statistics. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Where it lives

Photos and item images are stored in Cloudflare R2; account and wardrobe records in Cloudflare D1. AI analysis runs on Cloudflare Workers AI. Sign-in is provided by Google Firebase Authentication, and push notifications by Firebase Cloud Messaging. We use Amplitude for anonymous product analytics to understand how the app is used.

Who can see it

Only you. Every photo, item, and statistic is private to your account and is never visible to other users.

Your choices

You can delete individual items from your closet at any time, disable reminders on your profile, and request full deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us.
